Study On The Sustainability Of Marketing Business In The Co-Operative Sector
Co-operative societies are organized mainly with the objective of satisfying the socio-economic needs of its members. The role of co-operative societies to socio-economic development of Kerala’s farmers has been tremendous. Marketing co-operatives arrange for the sale of farmer members produce to the best possible advantage by enabling them to obtain better prices by undertaking different services like grading, pooling, procuring of produce of members, lending pledge loans and helping in selling. Through this study an attempt is made to evaluate the sustainability of marketing business in the co-operative sector.
