Optimal DG’s Sizing with their Locations to Enhance the Efficiency of RDN’s

Abstract

The electrical distribution network is operating at low voltage levels with unbalanced overloading causing 30-40% losses. The present infrastructure is incapable to supply the increased power demand. In this paper optimal penetration of DG at each bus is tested on twelve buses RDN. The multiple DG with optimal penetration values are obtained at different nodes in the network considering maximum power loss reduction with improvement in the voltage profile without violating the limits
