Determination of New Office Location using Weighted Product Method
Abstract
An office is a place where work activities are carried out. Each office has several facilities in carrying out its activities—the more activities in the office, the higher the opportunity to find a new office location. A new office was built because a company wanted to expand its business. The new office is a branch office in carrying out main office functions. The selection of a new office requires a decision support system. Weighted Product (WP) method is a method used in this study. This method provides a suitable office location recommendation. There are five criteria used in determining a new office. By applying the Weighted Product method, the new office location obtained is the best location of all the alternatives provided.
