Urbanization of Tamil Nadu - a case study

The economic improvement and technological advancement is inspired people to move closer to urban and semi-urban areas in a country. People no longer rely on the Agriculture and related areas for their livelihood. The sample of schooling and start of popular industries has modified the rural and urban existence style. Among the various states in India, Tamil Nadu is the third urbanized state as per census 2011. Around 48.5 percent of population in the State had been residing in city areas. The state has the eighty percent of literacy rate; it is extra than the all India average. The per Capita Income in Tamil Nadu is additionally greater than the all India average. This case study appears into the Urbanization of Tamil Nadu based on Literacy, employment in Agriculture and non-Agriculture sectors and per capita income.
