The Effect of the Phenolic Cucurbita Moschata Extract on the Prostate Cell Line (Pc3) and Madin–Darby Canine Kidney (MDCK)

Abstract

This investigation was chosen to clarify the impact of Cucurbita moschata extract on cellular prostate lines and MDCK. The seeds of Cucurbita moschata, which was collected and washed well, then grinded. HPLC separated the phenolic compounds, the growth of cellular prostate cancer cells (PC3) was verified and MDCK After exposure to the plant extract, where a series of dilutions (6) were made, incubate the cells for 24 hours. An hour, then the growth of extracted treated cells were compared with untreated (control) cells where some concentrations showed a high rate of inhibition of cancer cell growth.
