Abstract

Transmission and Reception of Data are the main important core in Intelligent Transport System (ITS). Vehicular Ad-hoc Network i.e. VANET is an important core of ITS.  VANET is a network in which data is exchanged between vehicle nodes equipped with data processing facilities.  Nowadays, the Internet of Things (IOT) has gained a lot of attention from the Transportation Field. Proper communication of data with security is an essential requirement in ITS among vehicles in the modern era with advanced features. The population in India is increasing at a very rapid rate that leads to increase traffic on roads. Due to this, it provides a comprehensive study of an intelligent transport system based on vehicle collision avoidance under IOT. It considers the concept of interacting multiple cars or trucks at crossing points with the arrangement of vehicles that are connected by remote correspondence. The main focus of this work is to avoid collision among vehicles on narrow roads especially. In a conventional approach, it's based on the mood of the user to use it or not. But the use of a controller-based approach, it helps to alert the driver even in worst conditions, because of the presence of high quality, sharp response sensing devices. The major task is to study different processes through surveys or existing methods to handle vehicle collisions to avoid injuries.
