Energy Management System for Frozen Food Factory

Abstract

This project aims to design an energy management system for planning and controlling the operation of the energy production and energy consumption unit. A system consists of Arduino microcontroller, PIR sensors, power factor alert system and Graphical User Interface (GUI) displaying consumption status and estimated information is proposed. The system will display the information such as machine name, power factor drop value, and adjustment value when the power factor is dropped. By using PIR sensor and estimated data built with support documents, the energy saving is verified. Based on the data, PIR sensor in energy management system could save energy up to 15.35%.
