Optimum Spacing Estimation of Yagi- Uda Antenna at 2.4 GHz

Abstract

The aim of the work is to design a Yagi antenna with optimized placement of Director. Theory of Yagi antenna gives proper design criteria for a Yagi antenna. This design is supported with lot of optimization algorithms to find the length of the elements and spacing between the elements. In this work, a three element Yagi antenna is designed with fixed reflector spacing. The spacing of director is modified to find the optimized spacing which gives maximum gain.
