Ergonomic Suspension and Wheel System of an AGV for Constrained Workspace

Abstract

The transition in time and technology has introduced changes in the working environment and functioning of industries whether small or large scale. The protean and ever-increasing demand in consumer market has led manufacturing industries to adapt and introduce innovative ways for fluidity in Material Handling and effective production. Our research here explores the various aspects that has not been addressed yet but contributed a significant portion in Automated Guided Vehicle Material Handling capabilities and challenges. A virtual prototype of the suspension system has been illustrated in the following research to check its performance and compatibility with Mecanum Wheels and with the constrained space as well.
