Implementation of a Cluster Based Letter Box System using IOT

Abstract

A cluster box unit (CBU) is used in multi- family residences, office buildings, etc, each box has particular person details maintained in the database, when a letter is placed in a particular box then a notification is sent to that particular person of that box. When a letter is placed inside a box the obstacle sensor of that box detects motion and gets the details of that box owner from the database and sends a notification to that person. This helps reduce the time and need to check the postbox frequently for the mail.
