Presenting a Method to Reduce Energy Consumption on the Internet of Things Using the Frog Leaping Algorithm

Abstract

Today, the Internet of Things technologies are used in a variety of devices, such as control devices that have millions of nodes and each of these nodes is based on specific platforms. In this proposed way, a method is presented that also acts better than well-known routing protocols such as H-LEACH, which is optimal in the field of energy consumption. In this proposed method, the nodes are divided into three areas, and in this state, one of these areas sends the packages directly to the working station and the other areas send the packages in clusters. Frog Leaping Algorithm has been used in this method to select cluster head nodes. The proposed method was compared with well-known methods such as H-LEACH and SEP.
