Abstract

This paper is basically about the different techniques have been proposed on full adder which is the basic operation of Arithmetic and Logical Unit. The research on full adders is of very wide range sinceit is a basic digital component. The main aim of full adder circuit is to provide high speed and reduce low power consumption and also to give high voltage swing. This paper provides the various methods uses full adder circuit. Here we present the basic full adder, complement CMOS full adder, complementary pass transistor logic,8 transistor full adder,9T full adder,14T full adder. Finally, the proposed design based on double gate MOSFET, implemented in Mentor Graphics tool and comparison of Power and Delay is performed[1].
