Different Soil Stabilization Techniques

Abstract

Stabilization of soil are most important in many civil engineering purpose the soil in natural condition contains less strength its capacity enhance by admixture also by considering the worth and thus the effect to the environment. Investigation done on various materials to know their effectiveness as soil stabilizer, which involved the use cement , Ash, Geotextile, Geopolymer, and various recycled and waste materials. These materials were discussed during this paper and their suitability for stabilizing soft soil seen from leads to term of strength only, supported unconfined compressive strength (UCS) test and California Bearing Ratio (CBR) test that had been conducted. The strength of sentimental soils was significantly increased with the utilization of those materials and suppose that these are good additive in field application
