A Polynomial based Colour Image Secret Sharing in Cloud Environment

Cloud computing services plays an essential part on many organizations. It offers tremendous assistance in sharing of resources such as digital images, video, documents etc.to the end users. The cloud service providers must comply preservation and privacy behaviour to ensure that the end user data survive confidentially and securely. In order to reinforce security and privacy on an image over cloud environment, we propose multi secret sharing technique to mask the presence of the confidential image. In this paper we propose break down mechanism to decompose a secret RGB image to YCbCr colour channels and split each channel into n pieces using polynomial generation. The experimental results estimate that the standard metrics NPCR, UACI, Entropy, Coefficient Correlation values proves the simple computation and image privacy of the proposed algorithm.
