Role of Mixing Enrichment In The Burner of Jet Engines

Abstract

In this research investigation of various types of combustion, mixing is studied. The main prominences of investigation are to envisage the various types to enhance combustion mixing with changing injection mixing diameter from 0.1mm to 0.2mm. Between these locations, the combustion mixing adopted by the researcher is the port fuel injection or direct fuel injection, number of the particle, nozzle angle and nozzle dimension. Hence with the use of direct fuel injection gives the complete burning of fuel. In turn low emission of NO and CO which increases the efficiency of the engine, the less unburnt mixture is released therefore less impact on the environment. It is noticed that in direct injectors the efficiency is 10% to 20% more than port fuel injection.
