Comprehensive Analysis Of Research And Ways Of Development Of The Infrastructure In Intelligent Transport Systems
Nowadays, the key problem of the transportation sector remains the lack of accessibility of transportation services to the population. To this end, this paper conducts an extensive analysis of research areas and development roadmaps in ITS, to define potential problems and research gaps for future studies. Moreover, it is necessary to improve the financing system for projects aimed at developing the motor transport industry, integrating into the world transport space and realizing the transit capacity of the country, creating conditions for increasing the competitiveness of domestic carriers in the international road transportation market, as well as enhancing personnel policy. The intelligent transport system (ITS) reduces traffic congestion on motorways, improve traffic management, minimize the negative impact on the environment, increase the capacity of industrial transport for commercial users and manufacturers. ITS includes comprehensive programs that process and share data in order to improve transportation benefits to the general public. This article was analyzed foreign researches and national programs in the field of intelligent transportation systems. Based on the analysis, it was emphasized that infrastructure needs to be developed to improve the most relevant safety and environmental indicators.
