A Method of Algorithmic Adaptation of Information Network Systems to Сhanging Operating Conditions
The article presents a method of algorithmic adaptation of information network systems to high input traffic conditions and the influence of destabilizing interference using generalized indicators for information efficiency evaluation. The method aims to bring the system with a given deterministic structure to high information efficiency and to maintain its operation at the required level in the extended interval of changes in the input information stream. The main adaptation criteria were determined as the maximum value of the coefficient of performance in information transmission and the maximum bandwidth of the input traffic. The means of adaptation were adaptive control of information exchange parameters, adaptive control of the input information stream, and adaptive selection of the routing algorithm. Simulation modeling and analytical modeling of information exchange and algorithmic adaptation of network information systems with given deterministic structures was performed. The simulation confirmed the efficiency of the obtained method and made it possible to formulate practical recommendations for its use in controller operation and system monitoring.
