Performance Of Classification Algorithms In Data Mining For Cardiac Disease

Abstract

This paper presents a prediction of Cardiac Disease. The Cardiac Disease is a major cause for huge deaths. There are so many Cardiac diseases that people can not differentiate one from the other due to similar symptoms. To identify the Cardiac disease, it needs more experience. Here, the different classification algorithms like k-Nearest Neighbour (kNN), Naïve Bayes classifier and Support Vector Machine (SVM) algorithm are applied for doing classification task on the cardiac data. And Naïve Bayes, SVM and kNN are compared for the better result. Applying data mining techniques in case of cardiac disease treatment, the data generate conclusive results as seen in the detection of heart disease.
