Improvement of Power Quality Using Fuzzy Based and New Switching Method Control Strategy
In this study, fuzzy and new dynamic control strategy have been proposed to improve the power caused problem by utilizing a unified power quality conditioner (UPQC). Fuzzy based control indicates and modify the DC-Link variation of voltage which reduces overshoots & settling time by changing the damping ratio. Consequently, fuzzy-SRF method and switching method in UPQC compensator mitigates power caused problems like current and voltage related harmonics sag and swell issues, unbalance interruptions caused by voltage. The proposed UPQC system has implemented and assessed in MATLAB/Simulink.
