A Conceptual frameworkof Happiness at the Workplace in Promoting Employee Happiness in Public Organization
Happier work environment is the key for the success of any organization, the provision of conducive environment influenced employees to perform diligently.Previous studies have shown that the lack of adequate happiness among employees affects negatively on the organizations performance.The main aim of this paper is to develop a proposedmodel of happiness at work environment for UAE government organizations. Basically, the study made use of previous literature review to drive home its argument on the precarious state of happier work environment in the region and the need for improving measures. The study concludes by proposing model of proposedmodel of happiness at the workplace in promoting employee happiness in governmentorganization. This will tremendously help in employee performance. The policy implication of this study is that its implementation is expected to improve and provide a high degree of happiness for employees in their organizations as well as opening new avenue for future research.
