Determination of the Resistance Level of an Agricultural Tool During Tillage

Abstract

The agricultural tools are an integral part during tillage. Customers want low price and
high quality not only in terms of wear, but also the quality of work of agricultural tools
tillage. Mathematical models are useful for designing machines and their parts. Soil
interaction is important during the design of agricultural tools. The variability of
mathematical models increases their competitiveness and designers are able to design a
tool for local conditions around the world. For this work, 3 shapes of chisels for tillage
were chosen and their suitability for use in practice was evaluated. The influence of the
chisel shape was proved on the processing parameters in this work. The results and
methodical procedure of use in this work can be used to design an agricultural machine.
