Development of "Konsepa" Flipbook Learning Media in Optimizing the Understanding of the Basic Concept of Early Children's Education

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to optimize the understanding of the Basic Concepts of Early Childhood Education by developing learning media "Konsepa". The study was conducted in North Tapanuli by the Research and Development method. The results show that it is still "not optimal" in understanding the Basic Concepts of Early Childhood Education based on the analysis of the issue quality with the USG (Urgency, Seriousness, and Growth) analysis tool, while based on the analysis of the issue criteria with the AKPK analysis tool (Actual, Eligibility, Problematic, and Eligibility), it has a "very strong" influence in optimizing the learning process. This optimization activity is carried out through 9 activities, i.e. (1) Coordination with superiors; (2) Discussion with the lecturer team to design the RPS; (3) Making of "Konsepa" flipbook; (4) Setting up a Weebly account and upload the flipbook; (5) Review of "Konsepa" flipbook by colleagues; (6) Conducting teaching and learning activities; (7) Controlling the downloads of flipbook; (8) Evaluating learning outcomes through online quizzes; and (9) Evaluating the use of media using questionnaires.
