Heart Disease Prediction Using Machine Learning Algorithm

Abstract

Data mining is a significant creditworthy technique in fields such as banking, communication, education, advertising and healthcare. Since data mining is a remarkable resource in the domain of medical databases, our research focuses on employing ensemble data mining techniques on medical databases. Of many chronic disease, Heart Disease is a common disease that affects the heart and an important cause for premature death. The system uses medical terms such as age, blood pressure, cholesterol such as 13 attributes to predict the risk of a heart patient. The classification strategies for data mining, including Support Vector Machine (SVM) and Random Forest are evaluated on the database for Heart disease. Experimental results have shown that classification using the Random Forest  Classification  algorithm can be used to predict events and risk factors with accuracy
