Smart Helmet With Gps And Gsm

Abstract

 Smart helmet using GPS and GSM is an Accident Detection and Reporting System using Raspberry pi. Sensors are positioned inside the helmet of the person riding the vehicle like, vibration sensor and the ultrasonic sensor. It provides the necessary information about the state of the person. When the rider is met with an accident, the vibration sensor senses the vibration frequency, the ultrasonic sensor senses if the person is wearing the helmet or not then all the collected information is transferred to the Raspberry pi module which is interfaced to a GSM and GPS module. The Raspberry Pi board delivers a quick the message to the emergency contacts along with his/her current location. This system assures to provide immediate assistance to the victim. The results give exact locations of where the accident occurred.
