Distributed Energy Management Of Smart Micro-Grids Using IOT And Blockchain

Abstract

In this paper,  distributed energy  management of a micro-grid is implemented using IOT and block chain. Here we consider three levels of micro-grids for distributed energy management. First, using IOT the environment values are sensed through Arduino and given to the IOT  platform. The coordinated operation is done in the IOT  platform and the resulting signals are used for implementation of distributed energy management in network of micro-grids. An IOT based smart micro-grid testbed is implemented  with three groups  of microgrid each group with  three  micro-grids. Each microgrid consists of a wind, two solar, battery and load. After establishing smart micro-grid test bed, Block chain is implemented to reduce the transaction expences byremoving the middleman.
