Employee Engagement driven by re-instilling Meaning Quotient at Work

Abstract

While we revisit Steve Jobs famous statements “Your work is going to fill a large part of your life, and the only way to be truly satisfied is to do what you believe is great work. And the only way to do great work is to love what you do.”Employees  always stay longer in jobs, promote their Company better ,create a positive impact and  are three folds more productive when they feel that their work is valued and meaningful .It is indeed a better decision to inspire current workforce instead on new hiring . There is a need for leaders to sit back and understand the need to create meaningful workspaces for their employees , employees crave feedbacks  and no one can deny the role of invincible  strategic leaders who measure employees competencies and shore up their weaknesses . Or else employees end up becoming pale versions of themselves causing dysfunction and frustration . Thus there is a need to build more meaningful workplaces  in order to re instil employee engagement .
