Reliability Measures For Biometric System By Using Boolean Function Technique

Abstract

Reliability is an important and essential parameter for every system. Many formulas and methods came into existence in order to calculate a system’s reliability. Some of these include  supplementary variables technique ,re-generating point function technique or matrix techniques and so on…  Trying to avoid all the complicacies, the author has used the Boolean functions technique and algebraic method to evaluate the reliability of the biometric system. Reliability Function for Exponential and Weibull distributions is also being calculated  along with reliability parameter M.T.T.F. (Mean time to failure.
