Dynamic Optimized Load Frequency control of Multi-Source Power System using Jaya Algorithm

Abstract

Load frequency control is an important issue which has inspired a lot of scientists to solve it. Some of them tested and solved this problem based on a single area system and others solved it based on multi area system .The goal of this paper is dedicated to study the effect of connecting two area together including renewable energy sources and reducing this effect using an optimization method called JAYA .The results of the proposed optimization method is tested through simulations using Matlab / Simulink program. The results ensure and emphasize that the proposed method is faster in response and more stable than the conventional controllers whatever if the cases.
