Plant Disease Diagnostic System using Machine Learning Techniques

Abstract

This project belongs  the field of artificial intelligence under the topic of image processing which is an application of  machine that gives the system the chance  improve the old methods. This project helps in developing a system which  identifies  and gives the preventing system for plant diseases as there is a lot of need in farming sectorregarding awareness of  making user to know about variousproblems in farming. The various stages of this method are pre- processing, training and feature extraction and prevention. Major diseases like bacterial leaf spot on spinach, leaf spot on mango leaves, cause a lot of damage to the crops. The method of fuzzy logic(rule) is used for finding pathology of the leaf. This paper suggests an artificial intelligent based machine learning expert solution that can provide much accurate results in the aspect of recognisation and classification of the leaf diseases. In this work, disease classification on these crops are carried out using entropy values such as MSE and PSNR achieved good results.
