Abstract

The presented paper is about Semicircular patch antenna for 5G mobile communication applications
which operates over a wide frequency band. The model proposed is a pi shaped semi circular
radiating patch to maximize antenna range and reduce noise for 5 G and mobile communication
applications. The obtained results show that, the proposed antenna operating over wide frequency
band from 25.3-32 GHz, with a reflection coefficient of below -10dB. The simulated radiation patterns
show that the proposed antenna has high directional radiation within the proposed band of
frequencies. The antenna has been designed on FR4 substrate with dielectric constant of 4.4 and is
simulated using HFSS Tool.
