TWO STEP VERIFICATION SYSTEM USING FACE RECOGNITION

Abstract

In the world with a rapid increase in the usage of technology, the number of active social media users has
increased drastically to 3.7 billion within the last three years. This increasing demand urges the social
network companies has introduce more security mechanismsto protect the authenticity of the user. They
introduced two-step verification mechanisms, but the two-step verification mechanisms like verification
code and graphical passwords can easily be compromised with simple techniques like sim hijacking. In
order to over this, we can use the combination of facial recognition and cryptography to safely ensure the
authenticity of the user.
