Abstract

Vehicles play a vital role in our day-to-day life. The greater utilization of vehicles is
demanded by rapid paced city life environment and situations. Vehicle has many effects, one of the
main side effects is air pollution. There are various gases emitted from the vehicles such as carbon
monoxide, nitrogen oxide, hydro carbon which also leads to global warming.Every automobile could
have emission but the trouble occurs when it’s miles beyond the brink value. The primary cause for
this breach of emission level being the incomplete combustion of fuel furnished to the engine, and
also due to improper upkeep of vehicles. The vehicular emission cannot be avoided completely but,
it surely can be controlled. With the evolvement of semi-conductorsensors for detecting the diverse
gases like carbon monoxide and nitrous oxide. The task objectives to display and manipulate the
pollutants in the automobile by means of giving alert to the user. This pollution control consists of
a gas-sensor, level convertor, IoT, GPS type of devices and all of them are incorporated and linked
to the controller. The amount of gas released from the vehicle is detected by using gas sensor. If the
emission of gas reached beyond threshold level it will provide alert message to the user, suppose if
the message is ignored by the user, the controller track the location of the vehicle using GPS and
send that information to the pollution control unit and cause the motor engine to get switch off. This
paperdemonstratesaneffectiveutilizationofgenerationbywhichwekeepoursurroundingsbycontrolling
pollutants fromvehicles.
