DESIGN OF TIME MEASUREMENT BACK END FOR LIDAR BASED ON TDC
The main aim of the design is to measure time front end for LIDAR based on TDC as well as back end.
This reference design makes use of the time taken with the aid of the light to fly backward and forward to
an object in order degree distance to target. The time between the pulse of light emission and echo
reception is measured for finding the distance. Time to digital convertor or Analog to digital convertor is
made for building a LIDAR. Thus, the ultimate aim of the project is to design a compact printed circuit
board by using mentor graphics xp-edition tool in which more number of components is used, hence
board size is minimized.
