Design, simulation of an automatic biometric based retinal recognition system using the concepts of ANN with BPA

Abstract

In this paper, the Design, simulation of a automatic biometric based retinal recognition system using the concepts of ANN with back propagation algorithm is being presented along with the simulation results in the Matlab environment. For biometric recognition of a person using retina scans, a number of methods exists in the literature.  In this context, Artificial Neural Nets method are some of the methods that could be used for biometric recognition of humans. Hence, the retinal recognition is performed in our proposed work for identifying the person by developing new approaches using ANN (current) methodologies.  Hybrid algorithms were developed & simulations were performed in the Matlab environment, the simulation results were observed and compared with the work done by the other authors till date to establish the supremacy of the proposed works.
