Abstract

The biometrics are connected to the human body and its activity in many ways. The introduction of biometrics is intended to address the shortcomings of the present conventional identification system, which relies on PINs, cards, and other means of identifying. This article provides a comprehensive overview of the history of biometrics. In addition, it contains a description of the biometric system. Face, fingerprint, and signature recognition are all commonly acknowledged biometric features in today's culture; thus, it is necessary to design a robust biometric algorithm with low values of FRR, FAR, and EER and high values of TSR that is both fast and accurate.
