Abstract

Reliability is the ability to perform a system with its maximum efficiency for a maximum period of time. In this paper event tree analysis is used in the industrial systems to represent the failure factors. Reliability evaluation using Parabolic Intuitionistic Fuzzy Number, Triangular Intuitionistic Fuzzy Number, Trapezoidal Intuitionistic Fuzzy Number and Pentagonal Intuitionistic Fuzzy Number. Aim of the paper is which fuzzy number is better to evaluate the reliability of the system. In this paper reliability of a machine using probability method is calculated and numerical examples and graph are given and defuzzify the numbers to get crisp values
