Securing DNS using Image Encryption

Abstract

In the recent times, rise in technology and internet has increased the risk of hacking. Sensitive data is
being retrieved by the internet exploiters who are playing on vulnerabilities to attack systems. In order to
provide data security, cryptography has been emerged where encryption and decryption of is done. An
important area to be protected over the internet is Domain Name System (DNS). To resolve the security
threats in the existing system, IP address is hidden inside an image using steganography which is
encrypted using AES algorithm along with a password. The password is encrypted using RSA algorithm
providing both Authentication and Confidentiality.
