Design and Development of Vortex Wind Generator for Residential and Commercial Applications
The utilization of non conventional energy sources for energy production was drawing attention these
days due to their attracting features. This paper presents design of vortex based wind energy generator
for commercial applications. It involves the design of converter for steeping up the vortex voltage. A
proportional integral derivative controller has been designed to control the voltage of vortex generator
and a three level inverter with four switches has been analyzed which reduces the distortions of the
output. All the components of the vortex wind generator are designed using MATLAB simulink.
