r-set and r*-set via -open set

Abstract

 The notion of d-open sets in a topological space was studied by Velicko.    Following this Ekici et. al.  studied the notions of a-open and e*-open sets by mixing the operators closure, interior, d-interior and d-closure.  In this paper  some new sets are defined  and studied by using the above operators. Moreover some of the existing  concepts  in  topological spaces have been characterized using  the newly defined sets.
