A Survery on Video Transmission Over Wifi Using Raspberry Pi 3

Abstract

There are various surveillance systems like camera, CCTV etc. available. In these types of surveillance systems, the one that is stationary and is found therein particular area can only view what is happening in that place the current technologies require RFIDs which are costly and hence the safety domain altogether becomes expensive. We proposed a low-cost system to build a real-time live streaming and monitoring system using Raspberry pi with installed Wi-Fi connectivity. Whereas we can monitor the movements of human being and count the number of people present in the room. A web app has been developed to for accessing the live stream. Thus, giving us the full video information on any devices connected to the server.
