Abstract

In today’s world, Bio metrics play’s a very crucial role in authentication and verification of a person's identity. Existing technologies such as fingerprint, voice, face, iris, vein recognition are quite available. Palm Print Recognition is another such authentication technique for human identification and security purpose. Researchers in research fraternities all over the world are now looking for such cost effective and highly secure method to increase the accuracy. This will include Wavelet Transform for extraction of palm features. Palm has several features like Principle lines, delta points, Wrinkles. It is helpful in minimizing the false authentication and increase security.
