Abstract

Nanocrystalline Nickel Doped Zinc Oxide Nanocomposites Were Successfully Synthesized By
Solvothermal Method From Zinc Acetate Dihydrate And Nickel Nitrate Hexahydrate Using Micro Wave
Irradiation. The Nanocomposite Was Annealed At 5000 C. Ni Doped Zinc Oxide Nanocomposite Was
Analysed Through X- Ray Diffraction, Transmission Voltage Microscopy, Selected Area Diffraction,
Sem, Edax, Fourier Transformed Infrared Spectroscopy And Photoluminescence Spectroscopy. The
Particle Size Of The Nanocomposite Was Estimated To Be 49 Nm. From Sem, The Nanoparticles Are In
Spherical Shape. In Ft-Ir Gives The Zn- O Vibration Gives Its Characteristic Intense Peak At About 500
Cm -1. The Transmission Peak Was Observed At 642 Nm In The Photoluminescence Spectroscopy.
