The power system generally consists of many generators, transmission lines, and power loads. Also the generators have several controllers to improve transient and voltage stability in operation of the power system. Especially, the governor is used to improve transient stability and balance electric power supply and demand. Therefore, the paper deals with how to select the effective generators and tune their governors in order to improve transient stability. The performance of the proposed method is verified by applying disturbances to MMPS modeled with nonlinear differential and algebraic equations. ER -
