The obtained results of X-ray diffraction (XRD) confirm single phase nature and rhombohedral structure of Zn doped Hematite nanoparticles. The crystallite size of these samples increases with increase of precursor concentration which is in the range of 24 nm to 34nm. UV-Vis optical investigation measurements reveal the changes in band gap values of the samples in the range of 1.73 eV - 1.86 eV with increasing Zn concentration. Furthermore, the dielectric investigation corresponds to the increase in the dielectric constant at low frequency range. With further increasing frequency dielectric constant remains constant. The activation energy measured from dielectric method is in good agreement with optical band gap values. ER -
