This paper also deals with the procedures to identify the graph behind the fingerprints using graph theory concepts which is widely used in forensic to collect, preserve and to analyze the evidence during the investigation to witness the crimes. In this case study several types of fingerprints are examined and the procedures  are defined to draw graphs and sub graphs. From the fingerprint samples collected we have brought out the method of identifying the pattern types, sub pattern types, number of types of ridge characteristics, number of vertices and edges respectively. Some pattern types are illustrated and graphs are drawn for easy representation and to demonstrate the algorithms of graphical ideas. ER -
