In this research, researchers collected both quantitative and qualitative data by studying concepts, theories involved, related documents, interviews, inquiries, brainstorming from experts and relevant parties. The presentation of the research result was divided into 3 phases according to the research objectives as follows: Phase 1. A study of methods for evaluating teachers’ competency at the basic education level currently in use. Phase 2. The development of teachers’ competency evaluation at the basic education level according to the indicators of teachers’ competency standards in the 21st century. Phase 3. The experiment on the developed method of assessing teachers’ competency at the basic education level according to the indicators of teachers’ competency standards in the 21st century. Research sample was 750 teachers under the OBEC selected by multi–stage random sampling. Research tool included a questionnaire on assessing teachers’ competency at basic education level according to the indicators of teachers’ competency standards in the 21st century. Data analysis was calculated for arithmetic mean and standard deviation. The findings were as follows: 1) The components synthesis of teachers’ competency at the basic education level according to the indicators of teachers’ competency standards in the 21st century consisting of 3 main components, 18 indicators and 111 behavioral indicators. 2) Both of the overall and the individual teachers’ competency assessment at the basic education level according to the indicators of teachers’ competency standards in the 21st century was at high level. 3)The quality assessment of the developed method according to the indicators of teachers’ competency standards in the 21st century by using the 4 aspects of the standard criteria including utility, feasibility, propriety and accuracy found that all were at high level.</p&gt;}, number={4s}, journal={International Journal of Advanced Science and Technology}, author={Pranom Punsawai, Rossarin Jermtaisong}, year={2020}, month={Jun.}, pages={3521-3526} }
