Using DVA, is an economic vibration control method as prior to its performance could be checked in laboratory and also by simulation. Here we have focused on the effect of mass ratio and the damping parameter of the vibration absorber on the vibration characteristics of the conventional DVA and Ground hook DVA attached to classical system. The equation of motion are formed by using Lagrange’s method and the dynamic response of the optimally tuned combined system are simulated in matlab®. For highly targeted mass ratio range 0.01 to 0.3, the required rise in mass ratio, damping factor are numerically determined which reduces amplitude ratio of conventional DVA equal to that obtained with Ground hook DVA. Mass ratio 0.03 is the numerical optimum mass ratio where the amplitude difference between two models is reduced. At the said mass ratio difference in Magnification factor is reduced steeply from that at 0.02.</em></p>}, number={9s}, journal={International Journal of Advanced Science and Technology}, author={Anant Sheth, Utkarsh Patel, Jignesh Patel, Utpal Shah}, year={2020}, month={Jun.}, pages={6758 - 6765} }
