This is a fertile plain, considered as a granary of the country, but this place is facing drought, saltwater intrusion and landslides. In this delta region, the shortage of alluvium from upstream due to hydropower dams blocking the flow of water, coupled with the massive sand mining, make landslides and saline intrusion become more and more serious. The current situation of disintegration and gradual loss of the Mekong Delta is no longer a risk. This situation requires prompt, long-term solutions before the Mekong Delta disappears.</p>}, number={8s}, journal={International Journal of Advanced Science and Technology}, author={Nguyen Tan Danh}, year={2020}, month={Apr.}, pages={1590 - 1596} }
