HISTORICAL AND CULTURAL HERITAGE OF THE CITY OF SHAHRISABZ UNDER THE ATTENTION OF UNESCO

Abstract

 The article emphasizes that during the years of independence the country pays special attention to the preservation, study and popularization of our historical, cultural and spiritual heritage, and the development of international cooperation in the field of protection, study and popularization of cultural heritage is a priority. Over the past period, new cultural identities have been formed in the country using cultural heritage, new historical dates, thousand-year-old cities and years of statehood, national heroes and great ancestors included in the national historical narrative.
