COMPARATIVE SELF-ASSESSMENT OF THE TEACHERS' HEALTH OF HIGHER EDUCATION INSTITUTIONS OF THE REPUBLIC OF UZBEKISTAN

Abstract

 Based on the analysis of the survey results, the questionnaire survey of the teaching staff (TS)of three universities in Uzbekistan of different profiles, the characteristics of teachers' self-assessment were revealed, common to all three universities, namely: not more than 32% of respondents consider themselves completely healthy, not more than 11% of teachers are considered to be healthy, up to 86% of those surveyed each year have 1-3 acute diseases, but up to 90% of those who are sick do not take a sick-leave, self-medicating. Preventive medical examinations of teachers in universities are not carried out.
